Promoting concerts is an expensive business: we employ professional orchestras and
soloists; venue hire and publicity costs add to the sometimes frightening total.
We cover our rehearsal costs through Choir members’ subscriptions, but concerts,
particularly those with orchestral accompaniment, need extra support from grants and
from members’ fund raising throughout the season. Here are some ways you could support the choir, and by supporting us help to provide high quality choral concerts in Reading. |
