Rehearsals are held in Peckover Hall at Leighton Park School on Tuesdays from 7.30pm
to 10pm with a break for refreshments. The choir season lasts from September to the
end of June and there is normally a 3 to 4 week break at Christmas and a two week
break at Easter.
Rehearsals always include a thorough vocal warm up, and may well include singing scrambled, and other activities designed to develop our vocal and musical skills. JanJoost is a singer himself, and rehearsals include lots of tips on singing technique. Members are expected to work on the music between rehearsals so we don’t spend too much time note learning. |
