We are an amateur choir of 40-50 members, ranging in age from students to the recently retired,
and all passionate about achieving the highest possible standards.
We give three to four concerts a year, in and around Reading , some a cappella, others
with professional instrumentalists. Our repertoire is very varied - from the Renaissance to
the 21st century - and our programmes are stimulating, sometimes challenging, and often include
unusual or lesser known works.
|
Recent concerts have included J.S. Bach’s St Matthew Passion, and works by Howells, Frank Martin,
Vic Nees, Rachmaninov, Victoria, Britten and Kuhnau.
