Welcome to Reading Bach Choir's 2007/2008 season of concerts. The focal point of the year is our
performance of JS Bach's St Matthew Passion in Reading's Concert Hall shortly before
Easter. We start the season with a varied programme of music covering more than five centuries of
choral composition. We return to the fantastic accoustic of Douai Abbey for a summer concert
of Dutch and English music. We hope you will enjoy our programme and come to our concerts. Sunday 18th November 2007 St Luke's Church, Reading - 6pm "My Beloved is Mine" Settings of texts from the Song of Solomon from the renaissance to the 20th century including works by: Dunstable, Lassus, Walton, Howells and others.
