Rehearsals are held in Peckover Hall at Leighton Park School on Tuesdays from 7.30pm to 10pm with a break for refreshments. The choir season lasts from September to the end of June and there is normally a 3 to 4 week break at Christmas and a two week break at Easter.
Rehearsals always include a thorough vocal warm up, and may well include singing scrambled, and other activities designed to develop our vocal and musical skills. Matthew is a singer himself, and rehearsals include lots of tips on singing technique. Members are expected to work on the music between rehearsals so we don’t spend too much time note learning.
We are passionate about our music, and the work we put in means that rehearsals are stimulating and great fun.
